Area description
🧭 SW 🚶🏻♂️55’ ⬆️ 800 m 🇬🇧 Lo Scudo, along with Il Calisio, Il Drago Nascosto, and Il Feudo, is the fourth wall that defines this area. The crag offers 9 routes ranging from 5a to 6c on compact limestone, and still features a few projects waiting for a first ascent. The climbing style is consistently technical, often requiring precise friction footwork (smearing). As with the other crags mentioned above, its exposure makes it possible to climb even during the winter months. The wall was originally bolted in the '90s, but thanks to the invaluable work of Filippo Magagnato, several routes have since been refurbished. 🇮🇹 Lo scudo insieme al Calisio,il Drago nascosto e il Feudo é il quarto muro che caratterizza questa zona. La falesia offre 9 tiri dal 5a al 6c su un calcare compatto e presenta ancora qualche tiro da liberare, la scalata è sempre abbastanza tecnica con piedi in spalmo. Come per le altre falesie citate sopra vista la sua esposizione é possibile scalare anche l'inverno . Il muro è stato chiodato negli anni ‘90 ma grazie al prezioso lavoro di Filippo Magagnato alcuni tiri sono stati sistemati.
