1.0 Inherent Dangers of Climbing

Rock climbing, bouldering, mountaineering and related activities are inherently hazardous and can result in serious injury or death. Specific risks include, but are not limited to:

• Uncontrolled falls or slips.
• Equipment failure or misuse.
• Rock-fall, ice-fall, unstable terrain or loose holds.
• Adverse or rapidly changing weather conditions.
• Remote locations, limited communications, and situations where rescue may be delayed or impossible.
• Wildlife encounters and environmental hazards.
• Actions or inexperience of partners and other climbers.

2.0 Informational Only, No Professional Advice

Red-Point provides maps, 3D models, GPS data, grades, descriptions and other content for general information. The app is not a substitute for professional instruction, certified guide services, first-aid training, rescue skills or your own experience and judgment.

3.0 Data May Be Inaccurate or Out of Date

All content, whether generated by Alpha Outdoors, third-party providers or other users, may be incomplete, inaccurate, imprecise or outdated. Conditions, anchors, fixed gear, access rules and land-management regulations change without notice. GPS positions can be wrong due to signal loss, device error or model limitations. You must independently verify all information on-site and via local sources before relying on it.

4.0 Assumption of Personal Responsibility

By using the app you voluntarily assume all risks associated with climbing activities and accept full responsibility for:

• Selecting objectives within your technical and physical limits.
• Evaluating hazards, weather and terrain.
• Choosing, inspecting and correctly using appropriate safety equipment.
• Complying with all local laws, permits and access restrictions.
• The supervision of any minors who accompany you.

5.0 No Liability

As set out in the Terms of Use, Alpha Outdoors Pty Ltd disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, injury or death arising from (a) your use or reliance on the app or its content, or (b) any error, omission or inaccuracy therein, whether originating with us, a third party or another user.

6.0 Acceptance
